The Department of Management Association is MARC enlightened association of future stalwarts of business management. The main motto is to train, develop and motivate the blooming managers towards managerial excellence, and to impart knowledge both theoretical and practical in the aspect of business. Inviting guest lecturers from multi disciplinary core of management, organizing seminars, workshops and symposiums which are highly interactive. Business quiz, Management games, Group Discussions, Stock Games and Case study analysis are the regular activities of the association. In order to link management students with the marketing world, market surveys are under taken by the students, with the objective of studying and understanding the real world market.
The activities of the Tamil Association functions under the banner SIMIL. The main aim of SIMIL is to bring out the innate talents in students that can flow unobtrusive when expressed in the mother tongue. The activities are multifarious. Our students marvel in Tamil Oratorical contests and debates, thereby exposing and developing their language skill and personality. Poetry writing competitions are a regular feature. The interviewer gathers firsthand knowledge about the intricate techniques of creative writing, to fashion his own writing. Once a month the association conducts various competitions in different areas among the students.
SPIKE is the association of Department of Computer Application & Applications, Informational Technology and Computer Technology, with the intention of proving that they are at par with the wizards and whiz kids of the computer field. SPIKE paves the way for students in catering to their needs and demands and preparing them for the global market. The English Literary Association (ELA) is a maiden venture organized by the Department of English. It reinforces the communicative skills and develops the creativity of the students. The focus of interest shifts gradually from those areas, which are familiar to students, to those, in which they have to develop interest. The ELA is the brainchild of the students, motivated by the students, and for the students, conscious effort to enrich their creative & communicative skills and also to boost their confidence by culling their hidden talents. This Association provides opportunities to mould themselves in various ways. Many Seminars and competitions are conducted for students concentrating on not only their Communicative Skill and Spoken English, but also on Personality Development, Personal Hygiene, Self Defense programmes, Interpersonal relationships and values in Education.
The Department of Commerce with Computer Application of Rathinam College has christened its association as ACE. The youth of this millennium are ever energetic and are efficacious in whatever they do. It has rightly been named to bring out the hidden skills of the youth and the success lies in the hands of Youth who show a desire to learn and grasp information for practical use and to further develop new things on the basis of it. If the past had been the invention era, the present can also be towards a similar horizon. Taking this into account this platform is for the budding youths to excel themselves. The department has conducted various seminars, surveys, business quiz, case analysis and workshops not only relating to the course, but also widening to areas of communication skills to personality development also. The students are encouraged to present papers, participate in seminars & workshop.
The Department of Costume Design and Fashion inculcates the ever-innovative spirit of budding designers through the activities related to the Department. The Association named RENDEZVOUS, meaning a fashion journey, brings out various activities like conducting exhibitions, display of costumes etc., It also conducts workshops in the areas of Fashion sketching / embroidery, glass painting, pot painting, collage and a whole lot of activities related with the fashion world. Students are encouraged to participate in inter collegiate activities and exhibit their talents. Guest lectures are organized and industry institution interaction is focused so as to benefit the students. Designers are invited to share their ideas with the students. The Association conducts for the designers contest mega events every year in the name of "Fashion Eclipse" to inculcate and exhibits their talents.
The motto of NSS is " NOT ME, BUT YOU ". The chief objective of NSS is the development of the personality of the students through community service. The National Service Scheme of Rathinam College of Arts Science is functioning with Three NSS Units. The total NSS Volunteer strength of the University is three hundred and above. The University has also introduced National Service Scheme in co-curricular activities under part IV of the U.G. Courses.

12, 0000 books collected were handed over to the District Library to be distributed to the Rural Libraries.
To promote and uplift the poor handloom weavers by the way of selling the handloom products. Each NSS student Volunteer from every college should take part actively in this programme. With an initial target of Rs.25 Lakhs it will reach One Crore and Six thousand.
In remembrance of Mahakavi Subramaniya Bharathiar’s 125th birthday. One College One School adoption Scheme was introduced. Our college was invited by Bharathiar University to adopt Perur Govt. School.
The Student counseling center is established by our NSS.
On every Monday the illiterate public are helped in writing their petition free of cost at the Coimbatore Collectorate by the NSS student volunteers on rotation basis.

The Rotaract Club of Rathinam College is affiliated to Rotary Club of Coimbatore Spectrum . The club organizes several Youth Development Programmes for the benefit of its student members. Its activities include, Leadership Development Programmes, Environment Awareness Programmes, and Entrepreneurial Development Programme etc.
Red Ribbon Club is functioning actively. It provides AIDS awareness to the students and the society.
